BASIC INFORMATION



Wrestler Name: "Soundbyte" Sage Holden

Date of Birth: 1/1/77

Hometown: Mesa, Arizona

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 238 lbs



DESCRIPTION



Appearance: Sage is a well defined but not overly muscular blond

(shoulder length) haired, blue-eyed, white wrestler. He has a medium

build, but is deceptively strong.



In Ring attire: Metallic Crimson wrestling pants with these gold swirls

that weave down the outside. He usually tapes his wrists with white

athletic tape and wears high black shiny wrestling boots.



Out of Ring Attire: Generally the same, but with a button down shirt,

usually gaudy or matching his pants some how.



BACKGROUND



Wrestler's Background/History: Holden comes from a vast amateur

background. He's technically sound, but not the biggest or toughest

wrestler in the world. He admits his weaknesses, and knows he's not

perfect, but is usually cunning or smart enough to over come. His

family

has a deep and rich tradition in High School wrestling in the state of

Arizona. His Father has been the Coach of Mesa High School since before

Sage was ever born. His father taught Sage the art of basic mat

wrestling well. Sage took this knowledge and led Mesa High School to

3-state championship, winning 2 championships himself in the 189 pound

weight class.



Sage progressed to Arizona State where he majored in Business

Management

leaving his wrestling roots behind him. As his education came to a

close

Sage's thirst for competition and his admiration of Pro-Wrestling

ignited a passion in. Sage began training under the guidance of several

prominent wrestling personalities. For over 2 years he battered himself

in gyms. Gaining experience that would lead to his eventual debut in

the

old OSW. Sage took his lumps there in the summer of 2000, losing as

much

as he won. He decided in October of 2000, that he had not yet learned

enough to be a major force in the business. Sage took 6 months off to

hone his skills before eventually showing up once again in AWP. This

time however, Sage Holden makes his entrance ready for whatever

challenge presents it self.



Personality: Believes he's most charismatic showman in wrestling. Very

out going, often quotable.



WRESTLING INFORMATION



Ring Entrance:



[Every light in the arena drops to black. Darkness prevails over the

entire mass. Deep bass riddled heartbeats pump over the sound system

slowly, building ever so. A baritone voice speaks methodically.]



"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."



[All the people in the arena rise from their seats to gaze at the video

scope as a single image begins to form. Letter, by letter they line up

from left to right across the black screen in big ice blue letters.]



"And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. God saw that

the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God

called the light “day,” and the darkness he called 'night.' And there

was evening, and there was morning - - the first day. Then he created a

man so dynamic, so charismatic - - God called him - -"



[A streamline of explosions rock the arena one by one. The letters

emerge on the screen in 3 words that go through the crowd like one

giant

energy force.]

[Personal Jesus by the Depeche Mode explodes out of the speakers as

fireworks jettison from both sides of the stage and up from the mouth

of the entrance. Flares fire into the depths of the arena lighting it

in

a bright white glow. Out walks a blond-haired blue-eyed 6 foot 3”

wonder. Holden steps from the curtain to emerge in full view for

everyone to see. He is is dressed in metallic crimson wrestling pants

outlined in gold swirl down the outer edges of his attire. He’s wearing

a similarly styled fashionable button down shirt that hangs loose. His

long wavy blond locks sway from side to side as he strikes a pose at

the

top of the aisle. He smile for the crowd as he continues down to

ringside.]



Entrance Music: Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode



Strengths: Endurance, Mat Skills, Resilient and quickness.



Weaknesses: Size (manhandled by bigger wrestlers), Strength (see Size)

and Attitude.



Wrestling Style: Mat wrestler who will try a high spot if the chance is

there.



Comparable 'Real' Wrestlers: I combined Angle, Brett Hart and Christian

together in making Holden as a character.



Finishing Move and Description: Cardiac Arrest! (Full Nelson into a

Facebuster) On a wrestler he can lift, Holden will gain a full nelson

and

lift the wrestler into the air and deliver a face buster out of the

full

nelson.  On bigger wrestlers he will go more into a bulldog type

maneuver from the full nelson, usually jumping into the air using his

weight to subdue his opponent.)



Set Up/Trademark Moves: Beauty of Cardiac Arrest is it can come from

anywhere at anytime. It's the perfect finisher for Holden as he's

usually getting his ass kicked most matches but can always pull the

finisher from no where for the win. Much the same concept as DDP with

the Diamond Cutter.

Favorite weapon (if any) Holden is too arrogant to think he ever needs

a

weapon, but he usually does. So he would use anything ringside, most

likely a chair.
