The show opened in the historic Piazza San Marco, also known as St. Marco’s Square, in the beautiful city of Venice. Martin Wyngarde came out and said it was magical to be here and was surprised that the authorities would let a little known independent wrestling league set up a show here. He promised the 750 fans there would be great matches tonight but wanted to address a more pressing concern – the status of Rob Cole. He said that still no one has been able to locate Rob Cole – no friends or family have heard from him since his mauling at the hands of Gladiator X, but wanted to take this opportunity for anyone who knew anything to contact OMG!W as everyone is very concerned for him.

OMG!W Tag Team Championship Match
THE DIRTY FACES Vs. THE ITALIAN STALLIONS
The opening match was THE DIRTY FACES (Leon Bronski and Jim Bastard) facing the team from GPWE, THE ITALIAN STALLIONS (Gianfranco Palluta and Antonio Annucci)for a third time in a tag-team title bout...IN A CAGE! Their fight last week ended up in a no-contest brawl. This week the match went ahead with the Italian Stallions getting great hometown support, and this gave them extra bite in their fight. Fought under tornado tag rules this was a good cage match with some great bumps like Palluta slingshotting Bastard into the steel cage. But it was the Dirty Faces who were just about the more dominant team as cage matches are their territory. We join this match as it reaches the close.

MC: Oh my god, Palluta gets Bastard with the Fisherman Suplex!

MC: Bronski makes the save. And now Bronski and Bastard double team Palluta with stomps and kicks!

EH: Break his spaghetti legs!

MC: Annucci is up, but rather than help his partner he is climbing the cage instead! He is sacrificing his partner to help them take the gold.

EH [shouting]: BRONSKI! LOOK!

MC: You’ve got Bronski’s attention! He sees Annucci climbing, and he jumps and grabs Annucci’s leg. Annucci is trying to shake him off but Bronski isn’t letting go.

EH: Jim Bastard is going after him…he climbs the cage beside him, and smashes Annucci’s head into the cage. Now he is down! He falls to the mat. Jim Bastard keeps on climbing. Bronski is choking Annucci while Palluta gets up and starts to climb the other side. It’s a race against Bastard…who will get there?

MC: It’s close…it’s…

EH: COME ON BASTARD!

Crowd: Palluta! Palluta!

EH: Come on Bastard!

Crowd: Palluta! Palluta!

MC: IT’S GOING TO BE PALLUTA!

EH: BRONSKI GRABS PALLUTA’S THROAT THROUGH THE CAGE AS HE ASCENDS DOWN! BASTARD REACHES THE FLOOR! THE DIRTY FACES RETAIN!

Crowd: Booooooooo!

MC: That was close! The Dirty Faces pulled that out of the bag but remain a dominating tag-team force in OMG!W

with Rotten Johnny
Very little was known about The Sons of Spikyjim, but they're managed by the man who claimed to teach the legendary Spikyjim everything he knows, Rotten Johnny (although this has never been proven). The last time we saw him he was beaten by Pabli Rarefaction. The Spartan, Ransom and Zaki are three popular stars but Spikyjim has been one of the biggest names in wrestling over the last decade so this ‘Sons of Spikyjim’ has created a lot of interest. Out came The Sons of Spikyjim to a curious reaction. They all looked a bit like Spikyjim with crazy blue hair, and as they came out Rotten Johnny declared over the mic… ‘The Future’s Bright…The Future’s Blue’. In fact, they all seem like distorted version of Spikyjim. Spikybob is 6ft 2 and 400lbs, Spikydave is a 6’11 giant, and Spikysteve is a 5’3inch Mexican luchra libre! Unfortunately they all seemed inexperienced and were overwhelmed by the power of Spartan and the high speed, high intensity wrestling styles of Ransom and Zaki! We join the match for its closing moments…

MC: Well, we wondered who the Sons of Spikyjim were, and the answer is, who cares! Spikyjim is a true wrestling legend, a man who has come back from the dead. But these three…they’re just a bad gimmick, leeching off the popularity and interest of the superstar.

Crowd (in Italian): OH MY GOD!

MC: SPARTAN JUST SLAMMED SPIKYBOB!

EH: Spikyblob more like!

MC: Spikydave steps over the top rope and goes for Spartan but Billy Ransom leaps off the top rope…RANSOMRANA!

EH: In comes Spikysteve!

MC: But now he regrets it! He’s surrounded by Ransom, Spartan and Zaki…Zaki i-Slams Spikysteve! All three Sons of Spikyjim are down! Rotten Johnny can’t believe this. Spartan waits for Spikybob to get up…SPEAR OF SPARTA! He makes the cover!

MC: It’s all over. Thank god that it is over. That was awful.

EH: Spikyjim would be turning over in his grave. If he was still dead.

MC: Well, I hope that’s the last we see of them!

CHRIS HARTT Vs. DAVID LEE
Not much was known about David Lee before he entered the Hardcore Battle Royale, having signed a contract with OMG!W at the last minute, but the fact is, his flying dropkick from the top of the cage made a big impression, and the fans loved his style. This young star faced another popular wrestler who has been on a big losing streak in OMG!W - Chris Hartt. Hartt is a good young aerial/technical wrestler. So is David Lee it seems. The match started off slow as they got a feel for each other, but then about three minutes in after some good amateur style wrestling they busted out the high flying moves and the match really sped up. Lee really looked like a good athlete, Hartt looked far from being at his best. We join the match…

EH: Well, the fans seem to be enjoying this even if I’m not.

MC: Poor Eric.

EH: Yeah.

MC: Hartt is on the top rope…Lee only just up and he shakes the rope and Hartt crotches himself! Lee runs up and dropkicks Hartt of the top rope and to the outside!

CROWD: OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!

MC: Lee is taking in the cheers. What an exciting young athlete.

EH: Hartt hasn’t been great today.

MC: He’s getting up…OH MY GOD! DOUBLE JUMP CORKSCREW BODY VAULT TO THE OUTSIDE BY DAVID LEE!!! DID YOU JUST SEE THAT!

[ MEGA SUPER CROWD POP! ]

EH: That’s amazing! Even I’ve got to give him that.

MC: David Lee looks like he hurt himself a little bit but he gets back in the ring…and Bobby Trevor is counting…

MC: Great victory for this young athlete! It may just be a countout victory, but he won the match in style, and he won a lot of fans too! It’s great to see young stars like this in OMG!W.


'HIGHLIGHT' CHANCE MACKENZIE Vs. 'TEXAS DEATH' ALEX COUGAR
Cougar and Mackenzie have exchanged heated words over the past week in the build up to their match, and this contest between cocky young wrestling prodigy MacKenzie and rugged veteran Cougar was a really heated affair. MacKenzie tried to keep the match fast paced chaining moves together, taking to the skies as much as possible, but he kept on being frustrated as Cougar’s experience and ability made him equal to the task, and indeed the brawler caused a lot of problems for MacKenzie, but MacKenzie kept on finding a way back through old-school heel, begging off, cheating, and utilizing Ashleigh Winters on the outside to give him that one second window of time to get back onto the offensive. There was a great moment where Cougar got knocked to the outside by a dropkick. As Cougar got up, McKenzie bounced off the ropes, feigned interest in doing an aerial move, but stopped as he saw Cougar being ready for it. With his attention all on McKenzie, Winters came from his blind spot, jumped off the apron and nailed a huracanrana on Cougar, sending the veteran into the barricades. Lots of near falls meant this match was a real humdinger that the crowd got into.

MC: Cougar…DEATH IN TEXAS! DEATH IN TEXAS! That has been coming. This match is over! He makes the cover…

EH: But Ashleigh Winters is distracting Bobby Trevor!

MC: Turn around Bobby!

EH: He’s just being a good referee by listening to her input!

MC: Get her off there Bobby! OH MY GOD! It’s Jake Cogburn...

[ CRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRACK ]

EH: YESSSS!

MC: Cogburn nailed Cougar on the back of the head with a chair! He places MacKenzie on Cougar…and now Bobby Trevor turns around now that Ashleigh has stopped distracting him. It can’t end like this...

MC: 3! Oh no, this is just awful! Cougar had MacKenzie beat but Cogburn got his revenge on Cougar for interfering last week.

EH: And now it looks like Cogburn and MacKenzie are going to beat down on Cougar! GREETINGS FROM MILAN BY MACKENZIE ON COUGAR! YES!

MC: That is despicable.

[ FACE POP]

MC: Here comes ‘Bad Dog’ Scott Haggarty! He comes out to save his friend and fellow Texan Alex Cougar! HAGGARTY CLEARS HOUSE! He gets ride of both Cogburn and MacKenzie from the ring!

[ BIG FACE POP! ]

MC: A dirty debut win for MacKenzie, and things have really started to heat up here in OMG!W

'BAD DOG' SCOTT HAGGARTY Vs. KING HELL
Haggarty made a solid debut in the Hardcore Battle Royale. His opponent was the big, nasty King Hell, and he’dl be a tough test of Haggarty's ability. King Hell has made a name for himself with his fork gouging, and Haggarty will have to be on the lookout for that. This match was a big old fashioned brawl. After saving Cougar, Haggarty had even bigger support than usual. This match took a lot out of both of them, and we join the match in the final moments:

MC: Haggarty and King Hell trading blows. Haggarty, blood pouring from his forehead when King Hell scraped his fork across it…knocked to the floor with a big right hand.

EH: No juice left in Haggarty’s tank.

MC: King Hell…BIG SPLASH! But Bad Dog raised his knees! The wind is taken out of King Hell.

EH: NO!

Crowd: Bad Dog! Bad Dog! Bad Dog!

MC: Haggarty makes the cover…

MC: He does it! ‘Bad Dog’ Scott Haggarty stands, dripping blood, but victorious after an intense brawl of a match.

EH: King Hell may have lost but he won’t care. He left his mark on Haggarty.


DEMETER ROMANOV, RUSSIAN SHOOT VAMPIRE Vs. AL TONKA
Romanov made an incredible impact in the Hardcore Battle Royale and was maybe the star of the match with his eliminations and the interference from the odd Mr.Sushi. He faces the man undefeated in singles competition, the drunk native American that RSV drank the blood of - the much loved Al Tonka. Their exchange of words in the build up to this match has been a highlight of OMG!W so far.

Tonka was out for revenge and brawled wildly and drunkenly as he tried to bust Romanov open. But Romanov with his mixed martial arts style was dominating over the drunken Indian and Tonka was horribly outgunned and got his butt kicked pretty badly. There were loads of great moments in this match. Al Tonka had knocked Romanov to the outside and went for the Red Man’s Revenge to the outside by Mr Sushi threw radioactive salt into Tonka’s face on the way down and Tonka crashed into the guard rail. There was also Demeter Romanov doing the "Alex Koslov Russian dance kicks" to the back of a seated Al Tonka. And Romanov took opportunity to drink the blood from the open wounds of Al Tonka. We join the match for a great finish!

MC: Romanov whips Tonka to the ropes…high kick, ducked by Tonka and he leaps up…CRUCIFIX PIN! ROMANOV SCREAMING IN AGONY! Bobby Trevor is still out cold though when he was knocked down from that accidental clothesline by Tonka.

EH: Vampires hate crucifixes!

MC: In comes Mr Sushi…HE BRAINS TONKA WITH THE SOVIET FLAG! Now Tonka is out cold! That is despicable.

EH: But Romanov was in serious pain from that Crucifix! I swear I saw smoke coming from his skin!

MC: But now Romanov puts the Korobeniki, reverse figure four, on Al and Al wakes up and tries for the ropes but can't get the ropes. Al is trying to escape but can’t but he isn’t giving up as blood gushes from his head. What courage, what truly incredible drunken courage.

EH: It’s amazing how alcohol numbs the pain.

MC: And Tonka passes out from the pain and bloodless just as Bobby Trevor himself gets up and he immediately calls the bell! It’s a knockout victory for Romanov as he ends Tonka’s perfect record! But oh my god, Tonka really showed what a courageous hero he is with that performance.

OMG!W STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
PABLO RAREFACTION [c] Vs. 'OKLAHOMA' JAKE COGBURN Vs. STEVE HANSON

The hatred and feud between Hanson and Rarefaction is long and well documented. Cogburn has made a name for himself in OMG!W but now finds himself in the middle of an intense heat between the two. It seemed to work in his favour as Hanson and Rarefaction concentrated on each other. Rarefaction was, though, once again, far below the performance he is capable and looked out of shape. Maybe the rumours of his drug problem were true. It is hard to say. What isn’t hard to say is how this match ended as we join Hanson and Rarefaction outside the ring…

MC: Hanson...OH MY GOD! LEAPING FALLING SLAM OFF THE RING APRON AND THROUGH THE TABLE AND RAREFACTION IS FINISHED!

Crowd: Hanson! Hanson! Hanson!

MC: The fans love him, and he leaves Rarefaction and goes into the ring to deal with Cogburn. Bobby Trevor is checking on Rarefaction to see if he can continue.

[ HEEL POP! ]

EH: CHANCE MACKENZIE! HIGHLIGHT IS HERE WITH A CHAIR AND HE IS GOING TO HELP COGBURN WIN THE TITLE.

MC: This must be some deal they’ve made…they’ve scratched each other’s backs!

Crowd: OH MY GOD!

EH: HANSON IS DOWN! MACKENZIE TAKES DOWN HANSON!

MC: But it wasn’t intentional! Highlight was aiming for Cogburn, but Cogburn saw it at the last moment and ducked and now there are strong words between the two. In comes Bobby Trevor and he orders Mackenzine out of the ring. In comes Rarefaction…he attacks Cogburn but it is clumsy and Cogburn puts Rarefaction in the Oklahoma Armbar…

[ DING DING DING! ]

MC: COGBURN WINS! RAREFACTION SUBMITS INSTANTLY! COGBURN WINS! HE IS THE NEW STATE CHAMPION!

EH: That’s great! But what the hell just happened there???

MC: I don’t know! I don’t know what MacKenzie was thinking! Hanson fought his heart out and deserved to take the title back while Rarefaction…well thank heavens his title reign is over after those poor performances!

Main Event
OMG!W WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - FATAL 4 WAY
BULL TYLER Vs. EL SAVAJE Vs. THE BABY EATER Vs. GLADIATOR X
After Rob Cole's absence left Bull Tyler champion by default, Martin Wyngarde decided on a match that should ensure that there is little doubt about the validity of Bull Tyler's title reign. He put Bull Tyler in a match with the man who arguably should be the champion, Italian hardcore specialist, Gladiator X; the winner of the Bobby Trevor Trophy, El Savaje, and the winner of the Hardcore Battle Royale, The Baby Eater. As you’d expect from a fatal four way, this match was all over the place. All the pinfall and submission attempts were quickly broken up by other wrestlers. Gladiator X and Bull Tyler were physically dominating. El Savaje showed how tough he is by taking it to the big men. The Baby Eater had incredible support.

It was hard to see how this match was going to end until El Savaje and The Baby Eater got caught up in fighting each other in a wild brawl that spilt into the crowd then beyond the crowd and then to the waterfront and then onto a gondola! Yes, The Baby Eater and El Savaje brawled away with each other on a gondola that took them down the canals of Venice. Oh my god indeed! There was a superb spot where El Savaje was floored by The Baby Eater who leapt off the gondola onto the side then onto a little bridge over the canal and then leapt off the bridge and onto El Savaje on the gondola, sending them both through the floor of the gondola and into the water! THAT is why people watch OMG!W. But back in the ring, while all that was going on…

MC: Gladiator X, he has been phenomenal. He is a phenom. He has rocked Bull Tyler. He has shown incredible strength. He throws Bull Tyler to the ropes…POWERSLAM! HE POWERSLAMMED 456lbs! He makes the cover…

MC: A strong victory, aided by Baby Eater and El Savaje taking each other out of the fight, and Bull Tyler has cemented his second World title reign. There can be no doubting now his status of World Champion, although everyone will be wanting to see Rob Cole back and challenging this incredible force for the title…

[ GIANT FACE POP! ]

MC: OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! WE HAVEN’T SEEN HIM FOR AGES!

EH: WHAT IS HE DOING HERE???

MC: IT IS ‘CODE RED’ RYAN SHARPE!!! REAR NAKED CHOKEHOLD FROM HIM ON BULL TYLER!!!!

EH: We haven’t seen him for nearly a year! I thought Tyler had ended his career at Make or Break back in May 06!

MC: He’s back! He’s back! The heroic hard-nosed ex-Marine and former title contender Ryan Sharpe is back and he has just made the World Champion pass out!!!! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!!! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!!!??
